Welcome to SWE!!!

What is SWE?
MIT SWE (Society of Women Engineers) is the largest undergraduate women’s network on campus and is part of a national nonprofit service and educational organization. Our mission is to empower women to succeed and advance in those aspirations and be recognized for their life-changing contributions and achievements as engineers and leaders. We currently have over 300 members and 50 board members who lead a variety of campus-wide, professional, outreach, and membership initiatives.

Fall Board applications will open shortly. We encourage you to stop by the SWE booth for a cupcake at the Activities Midway this Friday, September 4th from 2:30-4:30 pm and learn how to get involved.

March General Body Meeting!

Starting this month, SWE will be holding a monthly GBM on the first Wednesday of every month.  The upcoming GBM's are on: March 4th, April 1st, and May 6th (all 7:30-8:30pm).  Come to the GBM's to learn how to be more involved in SWE, find out about upcoming events, see your SWE friends, and eat yummy food!  This GBM will focus on outreach opportunities.  We will serve dinner at each event (for the March 4th GBM, dinner will be from Panera).
March 4th GBM will be held in 2-105.
See you there!
